CRAZY HAIR DAY!

Mistakes and Forgiveness

Mistakes and Forgiveness
By Darren

Fergus was a chubby 9 year old boy, with jet black hair, who flooded it in gel. He has round cheeks and his eyes are a fluorescent blue. He is an only child who lives at home with Mum and Dad and his dog Max. Fergus goes to Central Primary School his teacher’s name is Mrs Drumm, who is a caring and vibrant teacher.
Cameron’s teacher is also Mrs Drumm. Cameron is 9 too. He has to walk to school every day, because his Mum works the night shift and sleeps in. Cameron has champagne blonde hair which is on the longish side and always messy.
Yesterday Mrs Drumm sent home permission slips for a class trip. The class has been learning about the ocean, and decided to go to the Sea Life Aquarium.
Today Cameron walks into class feeling a bit droopy, because his Mum can’t afford to pay for the class trip. “Mrs Drumm, I can not go to the sea life aquarium,”said Cameron. Mrs Drumm asked Cameron why he couldn't go. “It’s because my Mum can not afford it,” he said.
Mrs Drumm felt very worried for Cameron. At the end of the day she plans to find Cameron’s Mum. She may just have a plan to help.
Fergus remembers that his Mum had given him the money for the school trip. He rummages in his school bag and peers around urgently for the money but in his bag it’s pitch black, he leans into the light and realises it’s not there.
Fergus has overheard that Cameron can now go on the class trip. He thinks Cameron has stolen his money. Fergus suspiciously accuses Cameron. He gives him a solid shove, and asks “where's my money!?“ “What? I don’t know what your talking about,” replied Cameron.
Mrs Drumm over heard the commotion, and came over to stop the fight. “My money is missing and Cameron was the only one that couldn’t afford to go and now he is going,” alleged Fergus. “I haven't stolen your money” Cameron cried.
Mrs Drumm finally spilled the truth. “Cameron’s Mum and I discussed it and I’m paying for Cameron. Cameron didn’t  steal your money Fergus! Have you checked your pockets?” Fergus reached into his pocket and there it was. “I'm sorry Cameron for accusing you of stealing, I was wrong and quick to judge, please forgive me.”
Cameron was angry with Fergus, he had never done anything wrong. Cameron put his arm around Fergus and said “that's all right Fergus.”

Cameron was hurt because Fergus accused him of stealing. Fergus was quick to judge but as soon as he found out the truth he apologized and admitted his mistake. Cameron was able to forgive Fergus and eventually the boys became good friends.
